Anyone applying for RCC's Fall 2015 Nursing program?

Thought I'd start a thread to communicate about applying, TEAS, etc.

Hi everyone, just ran into this page and I think its great there's something like this where everyone helps each other out. Wishing everyone luck, i applied also but with 70 points I doubt ill get in :( Im looking around for CNA schools but Im having a hard time looking for one. Anyone here have their cna license? Or does anyone know a place in or near Riverside? Im really stressing out over this[/quote

There's a school called Best American Healthcare in Riverside. They offer evenings and weekends 951-637-8332. The red cross offers a course too, but I'm not sure what the schedule is. The class is in San Bernardino 909-380-7255, cost $1900. Good luck to you!

Do acceptance/denial letters really go out today?

Or until the middle of this month, as stated before?

I'm going with the information posted earlier on...by the 19th! That's next week. I'm sure we'll find out by then, fingers crossed

I would also like to add that I don't think any of us applied for nursing school thinking it would be easy! We are dealing with people's lives so they have to make it challenging. There's a passion and a love for helping others that goes along with my drive for wanting to be successful in this program. Heck, going through the pre-requisites just to apply for this program is enough to test anyone's patience. I know this doesn't begin to compare to what's on the horizon, but I expect the program to be challenging. I'm expecting to have to work hard! I expect the next 2 years of my life to be dedicated and focused on studies. It's super important to seek out those resources that will help us succeed and to know where to turn when things get tough! I know we can all succeed! I appreciate every bit of advise and information that will help us reach those goals. It's so great to hear from students that have been there and are currently going through the process.....believe in yourself, believe in your faith and trust that you will get through the process!! Good Luck to everyone going into next week!!!

Excuse me while I go fetal..

Studentrcc where you in nursing 21 in the Spring 15? I did here you all had 30 students that were struggling at one point. I am an LVN but decided to start at the beginning because it over 20 yrs since I been in school. I am glad I did. I have spoke to some of the students who just graduated. They gave me some valuable tips. You have to know how to think like a nurse. This will have to come first. Try to have fun and not get to stressed out, about all pray and trust in God to get you through it. Stay positive.

Nope graduated 2 semesters ago.

Does anyone know how many applicants total there were this time around? & how many are accepted? Is it 80 people accepted to start in fall?

I got accepted!!! 😭😭😭 See you all soon in the Fall!

Congrats to everyone who got in!! I didn't receive an acceptance or a denial letter..has anyone ever heard of this happening within the threads? I only have 70 points and know I'm right under what the last cut off was... But still nothing.
