Yes, it is the counseling department. For detailed steps go onto the school website. Click on student services, then admissions and records, and finally getting started transfer students. There is also an option for detailed information. You may have to do a prerequisite validation form as well. Hunt around there and I think you can find out what you need. Feel free to contact the department as well for anything specific.

A couple more days until we can apply :D So excited! Anyone else applying elsewhere?

Yay, we finally get to apply today!

I'm applying to one other program but am wondering if I should apply to more just to be safe. Are you applying to other programs also?

First time applying :) and only applying to RCC :nailbiting: So where exactly is the application? Will there be a link on the SON page? Or is it on Web Advisor/MyPortal?

It should be posted some time today on the SON page:) Good luck!

The application should be on the SON page under Application Information :) I can see it now actually. Best of luck everyone! I truly wish your hard work pays off!

Hello everyone, this is my 3rd time applying at RCC. Really bummed that i couldn't use my CNA experience since i only have a couple hundred hours. Anyway, if I'm not mistaken, i am going in with 68 points after the teas. Hope this time around i get in! Best of luck to you all!

Has anybody attended a Pre-Nursing Info. Workshop? There's one today at RCC, 6pm-8pm.

Has anybody attended a Pre-Nursing Info. Workshop? There's one today at RCC, 6pm-8pm.

I attended an information meeting this past Spring and I thought it was pretty helpful. I heard about some things that I did not know and got some individual questions answered. The bulk of the info seemed to come from the PowerPoint online. I think I will try to go to another one to see if anything has changed between now and then.

Did they discuss the new point system? Like what the cut offs will be?

Thanks for reminding me about the workshop! I might go to see if there's anything new.

They did discuss the new points system. In regards to the cut off, it changes every year based off of the applicant pool. Some semesters it will be really high and other semesters it will be lower. There is no safe way of saying who will make the cut. I would assume though that there will be a drop seen with the change to the points system.
