Has anybody attended a Pre-Nursing Info. Workshop? There's one today at RCC, 6pm-8pm.
I attended an information meeting this past Spring and I thought it was pretty helpful. I heard about some things that I did not know and got some individual questions answered. The bulk of the info seemed to come from the PowerPoint online. I think I will try to go to another one to see if anything has changed between now and then.
Did they discuss the new point system? Like what the cut offs will be?
They did discuss the new points system. In regards to the cut off, it changes every year based off of the applicant pool. Some semesters it will be really high and other semesters it will be lower. There is no safe way of saying who will make the cut. I would assume though that there will be a drop seen with the change to the points system.

Yes, it is the counseling department. For detailed steps go onto the school website. Click on student services, then admissions and records, and finally getting started transfer students. There is also an option for detailed information. You may have to do a prerequisite validation form as well. Hunt around there and I think you can find out what you need. Feel free to contact the department as well for anything specific.
