I regret dropping the class because now I want to take it again! Ugh! I hate myself.
Anyway, I still have all my notes and information. I pretty much completed up to the mid-term then decided I couldn't do bio + math and stay sane.
So anyway, my question is... is the bio 156 mid-term/final the same for all teachers? Like if I picked a different teacher, would the coursework & tests be similar?
With my teacher for the mid-term we had to study 6 or so ADL questions every week and answer in an essay.
I'd like to get a head start if I take it again and make sure I don't fail the midterm.

The coursework is the same, the midterm and finals are about the same as well. The essay questions will be different on the exams. I suggest you save your coursework, but don't try to use any of the essay's you wrote and turned in previously, they will consider that cheating.
Thanks!!
I just started answering all the AYL's I didn't have time to answer. That's what killed me! All the Essays. Still not sure If I want to take it through RIO again.. but we'll see!!
The essay's are the worst part of the class, and the midterm and final. I am just thankful, I am done with that class.
Good Luck

Yeah, this course is tough. I'm approaching the midterm soon. If anyone wants to study together online, PM me. I suggest we research each AYL question from all lessons, then share the best links we find. Let's research together and pass this thing! Let me know.

My professor gave me a list of midterms to study did you guys get the same thing as well. This course is driving me crazy, I am going to fight my way through though. I may just pick up an AP 1 and 2 from my local college and transfer the credits into Rio, I do not want this course to hurt my gpa even if I have to go back and take another easy course (like into to computers) to bring it back up.
Yeah, this is a tough one. I'm stressing on the midterm too. Doing great on assignments up to now, but wondering how I'm gonna come up with all the information for the midterm - especially the essays.
Yeah that is what I figured too, who is your prof. JN? she is cool, very fair but this course is just tough. I am breathing, eating and sleeping nothing but human bio right now. My daughter got sick and I missed an assignment and I am clawing my way back up with my GPA, so I figure I will pour into my midterm for the next two weeks getting ready. The essay's may not be so hard, I figure if I knew what they was going to be on I could drill the concept into my head. Just try your best that is all one can ask right:specs:
No, I've got a male instructor. I'm going to review the prior quizzes too and hope some of the q's are repeats. Studying each chapter summary too and doing the end of chapter questions. Scheduled to take the test Mar 4. Let me know how you're doing. God luck.
I just finished this class a few weeks ago, my best advice is study your quizzes, but also make sure you can answer the essay questions. There will be at least 4 on the test.
