Rio Hondo Spring 2021 LVN

Published

Hi everyone,

The application window is open for a few more days for the straight LVN program. Is there anyone else out there that has applied? From the email that I received back I think we should hear back by mid-October.

Did they tell you when they’ll start accepting people? I’m assuming this week they will. Hopefully ?

Hi

no that’s exactly what she put short and to the point ?

I think they are currently going through all of the applications and weeding them out. My friend, got an email today to let her know that she didn't meet the requirements because one of her classes was past the 7 year mark.

Oh wow! Yes I think perhaps they are doing that. I hope I don't get an email regarding that.

Hi!

Joining the waiting period =).  LVN for 6 years, working in the field for home health, and mainly coordinating patient care in the office. If I don't hear from them by 10/31 when the mandatory meeting is happening, I'll just assume I was not selected. All GE requirements completed, AA degree, 79.7 TEAS, 3.5 Science GPA, 3.27 overall GPA (I wasn't serious in my  early 20's LOL).

Hopefully this week! Good luck to everyone!

Oh my, I just realized I am commenting on the wrong thread =(

I automatically assumed it was LVN to RN ADN program. But, it seems like the selection process is happening around the same time as well.

what school is this for? My friend says this link is for COM students..

So, I'm going to assume that we won't know until next week... ?

Another weekend. I’m just hoping mail does not get delayed because of this Covid and they send the letters last minute risking for us not to get it before the orientation those being accepted.

Yes, I'm hoping that's not the case but I have a friend who works for USPS and they are super busy with a lot of mail/packages. Perhaps, it's sent via email?

From what I understand if you’re accepted it’s by email and if not it’s by snail mail.
