Rio Hondo Spring 2021 LVN

Hi everyone,

The application window is open for a few more days for the straight LVN program. Is there anyone else out there that has applied? From the email that I received back I think we should hear back by mid-October.

Nothing so far. I hope they won’t send out the emails last minute. I read somewhere that a person received their email the day before the 30th but it was to let the person know that they didn’t get picked ?

I tried to look up info on how many students they will be accepting but I can’t find anything. Does anyone know how many students?

I think its 30. I asked lvn person in charge and said “Health Science and Nursing will only accept 30 applicants with 5 alternates.”

Hopefully they get back to us early this week that's coming up and not last minute because some people have work and all ? . I hope we all get into those 30 applicant spots!

Yes exactly. Hope we know something soon. I’ve been wanting to email the LVN person but I’m trying to wait till the end of this week since it was just mid October and that’s with that letter of confirmation said that they will start the selection process mid October so I’ll just wait till the end of this week and then I’ll reach out if we still haven’t heard anything.

Yeah, same here. I’m taking my prerequisites for RN so that’s keeping me busy for the most part ?

So I couldnt wait till end of week. I emailed lvn and she said “No Selection has been made at this time.”

Hi, thank you for the info! Sigh, I wonder if it will be last minute that any of us will receive an email...?
