Rio Hondo Fall 2019 ADN Program

Hi !

I'm starting this thread to keep communication with other Rio Hondo nursing program applicants (Fall 2019). The deadline to submit a completed application is this Friday 3/8/19, anyone else out there applied yet?

I still haven't received neither an exceptance nor denial my stats are

3.8 science, 4.0 generals, bilingual, AA CNA cert, CNA work experience, need to work, I have my BLS but I didn't include it... I wonder if it was my science gpa... oh well still waiting?

You have great stats! Don't lose hope yet! We have until Monday the 15th to accept or decline the offer. So they will probably send out more offers soon after that!

Your stats are good! I would just wait, I’m sure they’re still sending out emails! & to be honest I just included my bls to be extra, but it’s a given that as a cna u have one. Keep us updated.

Yeah I did! Did you?

I have a fire safety card already so I called and asked if I still have to attend the May 3rd training. She said to just bring the card in during the first meeting to show proof. Just FYI in case you have one too!

I didn’t get a confirmation email yet. Maybe we’ll get one soon!

Im so excited too! I’ve applied to a few other schools in OC and SD area. But haven’t heard anything back yet. Rio is the first school I’ve received feedback from! What about you?

Are you from that area? At least you have 1 down! Can’t wait to meet you at the meeting.

I got accepted to mount st marys BSN program, but tbh it’s hella expensive. Also San Fran state but i don’t want to leave LA. I’m just waiting on LA County nursing program.
