  3. Hello, I am starting my first semester of nursing school in a few weeks and want to know any tips/suggestions/study habits that you guys may have found successful while in the program? I am pretty motivated to succeed, so studying has never been an issue for me. However, I've heard mixed reviews from other people saying that nursing school isn't that hard or that it's the hardest thing they've ever done. I know it's definitely not going to be a walk in the park, but what do you guys think? Thank you!
  4. It says on their website that campus offices will be closed on Fridays. do you guys think that means they sent them today or tomorrow?
  5. nah its been a year now and i have one school i hear back from next week. i may go to a private school after
  6. I have the same science grades as you and i got an 84% on the Teas. I work in a hospital and have an AA degree along with volunteer hours. I haven't had ANY luck with schools here in the SoCal area.

  9. Thank you for the great advice. Would you say if you study the lectures you’ll pretty much do well in the class? I’ve taken 8 week science course and i felt like this may be a similar pace

  11. Hi guys I am starting nursing core January 2020, but I have two terms of GE's beforehand. Im taking fys, oral communication, and lifespan psych in the first term and then patho, critical reasoning, and ge capstone. Does anyone have books I could buy from them? Or tips/tricks to get by with these classes? I am nervous because i've heard it's not worth buying the book voucher plan from WCU. Also, has anyone taken these classes before who could tell me how often I would meet? or if working is possible while taking these courses
  12. Hi guys! I have been through the same struggles applying to community colleges in the socal area and have had no luck getting in. I have turned to west coast and plan to start this August 19th at the OC campus. I have most pre reqs transferred but have two terms(one semester) that include fys, patho, critical reasoning, oral communication, etc. before I start nursing core. I was wondering if anyone has any tips/tricks to west coast? Im not sure if i should buy the books or just go online like most people. The total cost of the program ends up being 96k.
  13. What were your Teas scores if you dont mind me asking?
  14. Hi guys I had a question about west coast. How long doe it usually take to get started into the nursing core? And when does the school require a drug test? is that during the admissions process or only just before nursing core?
