Rio Hondo College ADN Spring 2020

Hey everyone! I thought I'd open this forum for those of us applying to Rio Hondo. Applications are right around the corner and it would be great to use this as a means of communication. Feel free to post, ask questions, or respond. I hope to hear from you!

I applied to Rio Hondo, Glendale, and PCC (they're taking apps RN). I am also applying to CSULA, but I think my chances are low there, and if anyone listed above gives me a spot I'll be taking that instead.

I read the other thread from 2018, and the primaries were notified last week of October/ first week of November. So it looks like we won't have long to wait.

I did call their office a week ago because I forgot to attach my SS card, but they said it wouldn't effect my application and it was already being looked over at admissions.

Rio Hondo is probably my first pick, then PCC, then Glendale. I would take CSULA over alllll of those if they could get back to me before March ?

Hello everyone

I just turned in my application and this was also my first time at the campus. I was going to mail it in but I figured I go in person so I could check out the school.

The lady checked my documents and asked if I submitted my TEAS. The flyer says if we get selected we have mandatory training and uniform fitting on November 1st.

We will get an email if we didn’t get selected and a letter in the mail if we did.

Hey, thanks for the info! Did they mention when they will be sending us out notifs if we get in or not? Thanks!

She said by the end of the month, but I was looking through old threads and it looks like they also send acceptances through email too. Good luck!

You can check your mail on usps.com.

I dont have anything coming so I'm praying that I just live farther away ?
