RIO HONDO ADN Summer/FALL 2020

Hi,

I have not seen a thread for people who applied for the upcoming Summer/fall start at Rio Hondo so wanted to create one. I know the deadline for the applications just passed but feel free to post stats or questions that you may have. Goodluck to everyone :- )

I'm pretty sure they will make an exception to this, as there is nothing we can do at this time and they are aware of this.

From the zoom call, I’m under the impression that your correct it’s considered completed even without the Fire Card. This is being that the deadline for the Fire Safety Card is August not May 8th.

The packet and they have stated it... must be complete by May 8th.

They both must be completed by May 8th (results received). The To Do List states this information. I am not sure how long a background check takes, but I think it takes at least a week or two.

I believe it has to all be done/completed and uploaded by May 8th.

But they said in the meeting that the fire safety training card won't be due until August because of what's happening. For anyone else who is in northern CA, what are we supposed to do for the fire safety training card?

And where would we be able to do the 2 step TB test since they said that their health department is closed right now. Any advice y'all?

If I can't get it done at my regular doctors office, I am going to reach out to the CVS minute clinic that someone else had mentioned earlier on this thread. I'm concerned about where I would be able to get the chest x-ray since I don't think it can be performed in a CVS type of setting. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought it needed to be done @ a doctors office or hospital.

I go to the Southern California Medical Center in Pico Rivera, they also have other locations. Not sure about cost if you dont have insurance. I go in for my second shot and my physical on Monday. The CVS close to this medical center also does 2 by 2 passport photos. I went in and asked before. I'm going tomorrow.

Hi everyone! I just tried this morning to order the uniform through the link we were sent in the email, but the site told me the password was invalid. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Hi, I did mine yesterday with the code and it worked. I also just double checked to see if I would get the same problem as you, but it went through for me.
