Hi,
I have not seen a thread for people who applied for the upcoming Summer/fall start at Rio Hondo so wanted to create one. I know the deadline for the applications just passed but feel free to post stats or questions that you may have. Goodluck to everyone :- )

Do you guys know if I can upload my immunization record prior to uploading the blood work results? I have all the vaccines needed on record its just the blood work I'm waiting on.
I would not give up trying to find a place to do it sooner, though I'm not sure what area you are in. Because if you do it on the 30th you still need to give them a week to get the blood test results and once you upload it, they have 3 to 5 days to review it. So it might end up being late.
Maybe ask someone if you have the vaccines, do you still need to upload the blood work?
Why is that the earliest? Are you going through insurance? Or are you purchasing this through a third party? Are you having your primary care physician order your titers? I am a phlebotomist and work at a lab, please let me know the answers to the questions above so I can try to help you. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing all then that’s okay too.
Sorry but I just need some clarification on the MMR/Varicella/Hep B vaccines. So if my bloodwork/titers shows immunity (positive), do I still need to submit any documentation of the vaccination shots? Or is the positive result sufficient? I thought we still needed to submit both according to the checklist/Castlebranch, but when I spoke with my doctor, he said I don't need those shots if the bloodwork shows that I'm immune. The problem is I don't have any of those vaccinations on record.

Someone have recommendations of places to do the BLS CPR class? I tried to contact two places, and they did not answer me yet. The third place is very expensive...
I am still looking for.. I live close to Fullerton, Buena park, Anaheim, Cypress, La mirada..
I used this to find the nearest BLS class closest to my home.
I just had my dug test today, & also had orders put in for the MMR, Hep B, & Varicella titers (they said I can now get the blood drawn anywhere), but my PCP told me today that for the physical & the TDap that I need an appointment with her & the earliest they can get me in is Tuesday the 28th unless someone cancels. I can also do the TB test then as well, but the 2nd test wouldn't be ready by the May 8th deadline. I'm hoping someone cancels & I can get in sooner, but I can't be the only one who is struggling with the deadline. I'm not sure what to do.

During orientation, faculty said titer test has no expiration multiple times and to do our best on getting our vaccine records. If both vaccine records and titer test are available, both need to be uploaded into one file. For me, I uploaded titer test from 2018 for varicella without vaccine records (lost it) and got a rejection letter from castlebranch today. Emailed the faculty to see if they can overturn it. Hope it works out.

Hey,
Yes, I am going through insurance with my primary care provider. Yes, my primary care physician has ordered my titers. I fell like since the order has been placed I should be able to go sooner than that but I'm not sure can you explain/help? Also if I do the blood work ASAP and it comes back negative then I just have to start a new series of vaccines correct but that also means I'm cleared for the May 8th date? I'm asking because some of these vaccines have to be spread apart so does that just mean we cant start the program if the blood titier comes back negative?
Hello y'all, ---------- changed varicella status from rejected to complete on castlebranch just now. (not sure I can put her actual name on this post so I've put the faculty's initials instead) As mentioned above, I lost my vaccine record and only had titer test result showing immunity for varicella. After uploading the titer test, I got rejection notification from castlebranch. If you're in a similar situation, follow the same pathway. Email ----------------- directly once you get the rejection notification or any castlebranch questions to her(her word).

Because we didn’t receive it on the 8th. Then I have to email correct? I just want to make sure LOL
