Hi,
I have not seen a thread for people who applied for the upcoming Summer/fall start at Rio Hondo so wanted to create one. I know the deadline for the applications just passed but feel free to post stats or questions that you may have. Goodluck to everyone :- )

You can try a CVS Minute Clinic. They provide TB tests and other services there!

Yes, I am going through insurance with my primary care provider. Yes, my primary care physician has ordered my titers. I fell like since the order has been placed I should be able to go sooner than that but I'm not sure can you explain/help? Also if I do the blood work ASAP and it comes back negative then I just have to start a new series of vaccines correct but that also means I'm cleared for the May 8th date? I'm asking because some of these vaccines have to be spread apart so does that just mean we cant start the program if the blood titier comes back negative?
Is your insurance a PPO or an HMO, if it is a PPO you should be able to go to any lab that draws blood, for instance LabCorp or Quest. If it is an HMO or has a group or IPA assigned you will have a specific lab to go to. Most of these labs are walk in basis. So best thing to do is contact your insurance and see what lab you should go to or what lab(s) you can go to. Coming into my lab is generally a quick experience and blood is processed within a few days.
Also for those of you who aren't going through insurance or their PCP, you can go to requestAtest.com and purchase your titers there, but it is quite pricey.

Even my Doctors office is having a hard time to find the Flu shot. And I already stop in 4 pharmacies near me. Is it just me?
They mentioned that the flu shot is seasonal and that most places won’t have it. You don’t need it to complete the required documentation. You would just need the new flu shot when it comes out in the Fall. Hope this helps!

Message me if you need chest xray due to positive skin TB test. I've found a place that charges $60 in DTLA, but need referral from physician.
