RIO HONDO ADN Summer/FALL 2020

Hi,

I have not seen a thread for people who applied for the upcoming Summer/fall start at Rio Hondo so wanted to create one. I know the deadline for the applications just passed but feel free to post stats or questions that you may have. Goodluck to everyone :- )

Does anyone know if the Course Point Access will be required with the text for ADN 151? Thanks!

Yes, 5th or 9th edition coursepoint. If your referring to what is listed in the bookstore for the course.

Thank you so much! Hm, I would wonder why she claimed it wouldn't be necessary, especially for the eyes, ears, and throat sections. Yes, I would definitely check with the department on that.

You’re right. That should be checked unless she was too busy and forgot.

I skipped the pelvic exam and breast exam portion. I asked if this would affect entry or the physical in general and I was told no. Discuss whatever necessary with the physician and as long as it is signed at the end then that’s fine.

Hi everyone! I went to my Doctor today and he said by last minute the person who does the hearing vision will not be there until the end of May! They also do not know a place that is doing it right now... Someone know when I can do it?

I will contact my insurance tomorrow, but if someone knows, please share a location in OC..

Depending on your insurance check into St Jude Heritage Medical Group, there are multiple locations in OC. My doctor’s MA did my hearing and vision test. I am also able to get my TB tests done there.

What? Haha My Doctor is from there.. I guess the person supposed to be there... but something happened, and won't back until the end of may

Just got word that I moved from ALTERNATE TO PROVISIONAL STUDENT!

Just need to finish up 3 more things on my castle branch.

I am so happy guys! What is the next step now? Do I have to order books and register for classes? please let me know! Can't wait to meet all of you!

Yes. You can order books from the bookstore website
