RIO HONDO ADN Summer/FALL 2020

Hi,

I have not seen a thread for people who applied for the upcoming Summer/fall start at Rio Hondo so wanted to create one. I know the deadline for the applications just passed but feel free to post stats or questions that you may have. Goodluck to everyone :- )

No. They are probably working on it. As long as we did what was asked of us in the attachment, which was to email by April 9th if we didn't receive something by April 8th , I think we should be okay.

It does say to email if we don’t receive the zoom link by April 9 before 4pm

My attachment actually didn't even mention a time, I just double checked...but I already emailed not too long ago today just to make sure I did what was asked. But not too worried about it, as they are probably aware and working on it.

Because we didn’t receive it on the 8th. Then I have to email correct? I just want to make sure LOL

I'm sure we will receive the email with the link by this afternoon. It's going to be okay ? If you don't receive it by 3pm then I would be concerned.

In the acceptance letter it does say to contact via email that you didn’t receive the link. There is a person you must contact before 4pm

Hi there! I'm an alternate for their program & I am also on the waitlist for my #1 school that's much closer to me. Currently I am waiting to hear back from 9 other schools but their admission decisions either don't come out until May, or they have been pushed back even farther (June 1st for one of the schools I applied to) due to what's happening. With that being said, if I get off the waitlist for my top school (there's 27 of us on it this term & last year 58% were selected) I will be removing myself from Rio Hondo's waitlist to help someone else move up or give them my spot should I be chosen ?

I plan to! Rio Hondo is too far from me and I’m confident I’ll get into other schools that are closer.

For everyone who just finished the conference call, how do you guys feel about how they do not plan on extending the May 8th deadline for pretty much everything that needs to be scanned & uploaded? I know they have a strict time schedule to follow because they're dependent upon the rules set in place by the clinical sites, but it just seems like not enough time.
