RIO HONDO ADN Summer/FALL 2020

Hi,

I have not seen a thread for people who applied for the upcoming Summer/fall start at Rio Hondo so wanted to create one. I know the deadline for the applications just passed but feel free to post stats or questions that you may have. Goodluck to everyone :- )

-2 A's and a B for the prereqs

-3.83 overall GPA

-90 on the TEAS,

-200+ volunteer hours

I don't have any degrees, am not bilingual, don't have work experience, and didn't write a personal letter (kicking myself for that). So I'm hoping I hear back, but we'll see.

CONGRATS to those of you who've been accepted though. It's an interesting time to be starting a program.

Got my rejection email today. Not too upset about it, just wanted to share my stats and outcome for future applicants.

Awesome! I also am waiting on CSUSM thats the last CSU I'm waiting on since all the rest rejected me LOL. I have a couple community colleges as well. Wishing you the best of luck ❤️

I also applied there! I heard we won’t be hearing back until May though :/ Did you get your point evaluation back yet?

I've been constantly checking, but I figured they needed more time. Was going to wait until 3 or so to email. Thanks! I have to stop stressing! We got in already ? I'm concerned about what is going to happen with our Summer start with all that's happening, with schools and hospitals not accepting students for clinicals because of covid. Our Summer classes say that the BRN requires us to take the theory course and clinical TOGETHER, not separate. Cant wait to hear what's happening on Friday.
