I bet it's California. California is always trying to out-do everyone else...well, at least those in SOUTHERN California. :D

You'd better not be including me in that remark...........

Do we really need a "right to be educated?"

Well...someone thinks that we do...:lol2: :lol2:

How have you been? Did you get those books, yet? If so, how are they to you?

I got them. They are fantastic. I love them. :D

Does anyone know how to make a LINK? All the html tags I've tried are NOT working. Are there some kinda special gobbly-gook I need to do to make a link??

You gave him books but you didn't give me any?

i am sorry never heard of 18 .was taught and use 5 rights as previously listed .i agree making it 18 just makes it complicated and impossible to remember.

I did some searching online and found an article with eight rights...

  1. Right Patient
  2. Right Drug
  3. Right Dose
  4. Right Route
  5. Right Time
  6. Right Documentation
  7. Right to Refuse
  8. Right to Be Educated

It seems to me that adding more "rights" is just making things more complicated...sure it is all important, but it also is taking away from the basics.

I found this article to be pretty interesting...think it will ever happen?

:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: Actually, they were book suggestions for beginning nursing school....:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: Remember those good ole' days....:trout:

I do have to say that I thought school was a problem. Work, on the other hand is a whole other entity of problems.

9. Right to Be Stupid

:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: Many seem to FIGHT to earn or retain that particular right. Or, the right to create other rights to drive us insane.

10. Right to be sued for a bad outcome despite following all the rights.

11. Right to have pharmacy insist YOU call the MD because they don't like the order.

12. Right to have the MD insist their handwriting is perfectly legible.

Come on folks, I'm sure if we work together, we'll easily get to 18!!

me also knw only 5....

You're right...we can go on and on and come up with 120!
