Hi all!
I'm in a process of applying to the Resurrection University (formerly West Suburban College of Nursing) for BSN Spring 2011 program (generic 16 months option). I started this thread to get and give some support along the process. Let's help each other out and maybe get know better before the semester starts! I'm about to start my final (fall) semester at Wilbur Wright College, I already took the TEAS exam, submitted my online application, letters of recommendation and essay. I'm just waiting for my official transcript with summer school grades. I'll be going for the guaranteed admission program. If anyone has questions or just want to share his/hers experiences- please post your comments! GOOD LUCK Y'ALL !! :)
Hi there, I had noticed this thread a few weeks ago and have been checking back. As I'm sure I would have appreciated hearing if others heard I just wanted to let you all know that I received a call today to notify my of my acceptance. John mentioned that they won't be sending out forms for another couple of weeks. I'm not sure if they're calling a bunch of people or he just called because I had been in touch with him in late August. I wish everyone the best with your pursuits and hope all goes well.
Yup, I got a call as well, I'm in! :) ! I actually called Admission Counselor (J. Miranda) on Thursday and he told me that I'll be getting a call either Friday or the beginning of next week, and I got the call yesterday. :) Finally! I'm so happy and relieved! Congrats wookiejm, and good luck y'all !
I talked to John today and he said they should have it done in the next week and a half or two weeks and to call him then. I'm not sure if that's for everyone who wasn't eligible for automatic admission, or if you have to go to the board or not. I went to nursing school for a semester before, but I've been told different things on whether the board has to discuss my admission or not, since I meet all the basic criteria. Good luck and congrats to everyone!

Wa-Waaah (my sad trumpet impression)
, that's a bummer! Thanks for finding out though! I guess I won't be bothering them for the next two weeks if they said mid October
