I didnt even know there was continuing education for OBN until I went to their website today. I guess I now have three months to get it? But what if you work full time? Doesn't account for some of it or do you still have to do education credits as well? I can't pick up the letter until tomorrow. Will probably be a restless night especially since I am a worry wart.
Continuing education is usually not a problem. There are many avenues to do this online and it can actually be done almost immediately if you take the courses that do not require an exam. I would look for a course provider online that offers courses for your state and get this done as soon as possible. Good luck with the letter. I hope that continuing education is all this is about.

Good evening,
Yesterday evening the postman knocked on the door to deliver a restricted certified letter to me. My son tried to sign for it but they said it had to be me. The postman left a card telling him I could pick up the 8x10 large envelope on Friday after the hollidays. I have never received a certified letter from the board of nursing. Granted my license is up for renewal exactly 90 days from today and they do send out a renewal letter with your pin. For whatever reason on my last renewal I never received any letter. Im very anxious and worried that it might be a complaint or an investigation. But I cannot think of a single thing I have done during my nursing practice that would illicit this. But of course you never know. I recently moves to Colorado but changed my address promptly (a week after I moved). Does anyone have an idea why someone would be sent a certified letter from the board of nursing?
