Restricted Certified Letter from OBN

Nurses General Nursing

Good evening,

Yesterday evening the postman knocked on the door to deliver a restricted certified letter to me. My son tried to sign for it but they said it had to be me. The postman left a card telling him I could pick up the 8x10 large envelope on Friday after the hollidays. I have never received a certified letter from the board of nursing. Granted my license is up for renewal exactly 90 days from today and they do send out a renewal letter with your pin. For whatever reason on my last renewal I never received any letter. Im very anxious and worried that it might be a complaint or an investigation. But I cannot think of a single thing I have done during my nursing practice that would illicit this. But of course you never know. I recently moves to Colorado but changed my address promptly (a week after I moved). Does anyone have an idea why someone would be sent a certified letter from the board of nursing?

Yeah you need to have proof of several years. Hopefully it is not. On top of that, see if if I has to be approved by your board in order to use it towards your nursing license of education. I'd keep six years as a just in case. I'm renewing my paramedic license in June and I'm sweating it.

So did you ever figure out what the certified letter was about?

Usually the most interesting threads are the ones where the OP never comes back to tell us the rest of the story.
