Restricted Certified Letter from OBN
I didnt even know there was continuing education for OBN until I went to their website today. I guess I now have three months to get it? But what if you work full time? Doesn't account for some of it or do you still have to do education credits as well? I can't pick up the letter until tomorrow. Will probably be a restless night especially since I am a worry wart.

Restricted Certified Letter from OBN
Good evening, Yesterday evening the postman knocked on the door to deliver a restricted certified letter to me. My son tried to sign for it but they said it had to be me. The postman left a card telling him I could pick up the 8x10 large envelope on Friday after the hollidays. I have never received a certified letter from the board of nursing. Granted my license is up for renewal exactly 90 days from today and they do send out a renewal letter with your pin. For whatever reason on my last renewal I never received any letter. Im very anxious and worried that it might be a complaint or an investigation. But I cannot think of a single thing I have done during my nursing practice that would illicit this. But of course you never know. I recently moves to Colorado but changed my address promptly (a week after I moved). Does anyone have an idea why someone would be sent a certified letter from the board of nursing?

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
I took NCLEX at 10:30 this morning and received all 265 questions. As soon as I got home about an hour after completing the exam. I received the good pop up. However, I'm still waiting to view my actual results. I will repost when I find out if I really did pass and the pop really did work.

Any PEER nurses from OK out there?
I know I am not going to be very helpful with this post. Because I am currently dealing with some of the same stuff right now. Only I haven't even began job looking yet. I graduate a year and a half ago, I applied to take my licensure, was told that I would have to sign a stipulation order, which I did. Was also told by the Board of nursing that I would receive all instruction for classes to take etc. that would be required in the stipulation order. Then received a letter in March telling me the board denied my stipulation order. Now, I'm having to appeal with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing because they have denied me to even take my test because I was convicted of 2 felonies and 4 misdemeanors over 11 years ago. I probably wouldn't have even went to nursing school, but I called the board of nursing long before I ever started school and they told me that as long as it had been 5 years they would license me and now they pull this crap! By the time I get to take my test, I will probably fail because I've been out of school a year and a half. I do understand your frustrations, about getting a job. I can only imagine if I get to take my exam, I will probably never get employed with my background. Well good luck and I hope you find a job to suit your needs in the near future!

What Do Hospitals Check For in Background Checks?
They will do a criminal background check for sure. I applied for a position knowing that I have a criminal back ground. However, they still did not deny me a position as a nurse. There are so many people that have experienced problems in their past I believe they don't look at it as much as they used too. Now, however if it is recent it could be a problem but some of mine are 14 and 17 years old and my Nurse Manager when I told her that I had felonies on my background responded with" I have several girls that work here who have been convicted of crimes, so she didn't seem bothered by it. So some employers will hire you with a background and some won't if that's what your worried about. :)

ati RN comprehensive predictor 3.0
Well I don't know I guess it depends on how you look at it. I suppose some may say that. You have to understand that we have been taking ERI's which is now owned by ATI. The ERI"s were just ridicules, no one could pass them, so we did what we had to do to pass them. Students generally would take the test remember questions put together the answers we thought we correct and then go back in and take the ERI's again. This was the only way they could be passed. Now that ATI owns ERI I'm thinking oh lord here we go again another test that no one can pass and we only have 3 tries.

Also does anybody have any questions they have composed together after taking the ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor. I know that fellow students at the school I attend often get together and compile questions after taking the ERI's so that everyone can pass. If any of you have any of these questions you have compiled together after taking the ATI RNComprehensive Predictor I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Is the ATI Comprehensive Predictor the same test if you fail it and have to retake it?

Need interventions and rationales
I am having a terrible time finding interventions and rationales for anything related to end stage renal failure. I am using the diagnosis of Ineffective renal tissue perfusion, I actually got it from your website. However I can find no rationales for it. I have looked under urinary and the only thing listed there is about incontinence.
