Sorry about being late to the party.

This class is insane! Our critique is obviously graded according to a template that is provided to the AC's.

Some of the things that my AC has taken off for are ridiculous.

My group went from an A to low b with the last critique grade.

This class needs to be scratched and redone.

The worst part is that you basically need a B in research to get into any decent Masters Program.

I made a 95 on the first quiz and will be ecstatic to get a B for the class, and I have a SUPER group in which everyone participates.

It is not the group work, it is the grading that is done on the assignments.

Good luck to everyone in surviving this horrible class.

Just be careful with the final APA paper. This is the one where they take off ridiculous points. You could see that B turn to a C if you are not careful in your formatting. It is worth 10% of your final grade......so that could mean a +10 points or a -10 to your present overall grade. Be very vigilant.

We got our JC grade back and I am not happy. We bombed. Reading the coach's comments makes me think she doesn't like our article so I am wondering why she approved it to begin with. I don't understand how her points add up either and I don't agree with all the points she took off. If I did well on the quiz and the APA paper I could have gotten an A in the class...barely. That one paper blew my A, blew my 4.0. I hate this class.

It blew a lot of everyone's 4.0. This and math. However, dust yourself off and keep going.

I don't think there is a single person out there that didn't have issues with this course. I am getting ready to take quiz 2 and I am just hopeful that it is a little more straight forward than quiz 1. My brain is fried at this point.

Good luck on the quiz. I prepared the same way as I did for quiz 1 and did much worse. I don't know that quiz 2 was harder...I have a very poor attitude today. I made an A on the first one and C on second one. At least it's almost over.

But the thing I hate most about this class, is that I kinda feel my grade is not a reflection of my work or what I can do. Yes, I could have edited and edited and edited to make it where I thought it was just right. Sometimes I made suggestions that weren't taken and we missed points. I'm just second guessing everything now. And to top waking up to the bad grade on JC, my husband is out of town and my car wouldn't start. I had to call a neighbor to take my girls to school and she is bringing them home. Luckily both of my boys can ride the bus. At least my husband is coming home tonight. After I get through the 2 classes I am taking right now, next week is ALL ABOUT ME!! LOL.
