Request Copy of NCLEX Passing Letter

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone here can help how to request a copy on NCLEX Passing Letter from California Board of Nursing. I passed the NCLEX in 2007 and now I am applying in US but they required the copy NCLEX Passing Letter which I don't have.

Specializes in Med Surg, OB, ENT, OPD.

no. I lost my copy so I was not able to enclose the pass letter. I just enclosed a letter requesting for a copy of my pass letter

Were you able to get your NCLEX pass letter from NMI? How did you go about this? I'm in the same situation as you have been. Thanks for any help.

I managed to obtain report from California not NMI(was never in NMI).

Thanks for your reply.

I only asked about NMI as I read on this thread that she transferred her NCLEX score to NMI from California, so Cali does not have a record of her passing so she needed to get the report from NMI.

I also had a transfer score to another BON from Ca BRN.

Saying this, I got an email from OK BON with my NCLEX RN pass report.

Were you able to get your test results from NMI?

Have you ever applied for your USRN license in California when you got your  SSN? If yes, did California ask for verification of NCLEX results from NMI where you transferred your score?

Same case here, passed the NCLEX last 2010 but never got the california license because of SSN. I have my pass letter with me but my worry is that how will the cgfns verify it to California Board since I don't have a license number. My agency says they will endorse it to texas. Any thoughts on this? Thanks guys

Hi 

I know this thread is old. But just so you know, I was able to get my NY license by Forwarding my Cali-NCLEX passed result to NY BON. Same process I did to get my MD RN license.

All you have to do is to send the following: 

-License Verification form from NY to be sent to California BRN.

-copy of Notification Letter that you passed NCLEX RN. It has a file number on the upper right hand of the letter and date of receipt..

-Explanation letter, the purpose of the transfer of NCLEX passed result.

-Fees payable via check (personal/money order): $100 (as of 7/2023).

Takes about 2-4weeks. 

 

Im in the process again of endorsing my license. However, it is Texas and a whole different process. I hope I can do the same process as a I did.
