I was wondering how the relationship between an MT and an RN is. Since lab results are ordered and received at a frequent rate this is a crucial communication line

Ok, I have no idea what this poll is asking.

My relationship with lab techs is extremely limited. They call me to tell me panic values or that they need a new label for the specimen I just sent. I call them to ask how much blood they really need for a certain test (because they never actually need how much the slip claims they do) or what tube a miscellaneous test goes in.

I'm confused too. I work at a small hospital, so I have a good phone relationship with the people that call with critical values. We see the same few phlebotomists as well (we don't draw blood except from central lines)--I've got a good relationship with them too.
