Registration Verification from Saudi Council

Hi! Been following the discussion about verification of nurse registration since last week and I decided to join this site to get some help and be of assistance, if possible.

Currently, I am applying for Further Assessment in Alberta's College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). At this stage, the only requirement I need is the Verification of Registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) or known as the Saudi Council. I was advised that it is done online so I paid and received a Certificate of Good Standing via email in a matter of minutes. I thought everything was fine but the problem has just get started from that point.

Two weeks ago, I sent the said certificate electronically but they advised me to have it printed and sent directly from its source that is Saudi Council. So I went there a couple of days back to ask them to send it as it is the requirement of CARNA (with the fee of sending to be paid by me) but they declined my request. They just gave me an envelope and instructed me to send it myself.

The dilemma did not end there because last night, CARNA emailed me that the certificate does not include the Initial Date of Registration and that their Nurse Consultant will call them with this concern. As for my end, I am planning to go back there and have the Verification of Nurse Registration Form filled up in addition to the good standing certificate. However, I would like to hear from you guys who have the same concern or been processing their CARNA registration or with any other jurisdiction (eg., NMC UK, AHPRA) that requires registration verification from Saudi Arabia.

Sorry i forgot exactly how much but it was around 150sr

before i enclosed the documents in their issued folder i checked the dates and spelling of my name

Help! I am currently in the application and assessment stage of my papers for NMC. I am working in Saudi and I have gained two licenses. First, as a Nurse Technician in 2011 but I no longer use it as it has expired and it was not the license needed by my current employer. So in 2013, I gained my second license which is as Nurse Specialist and is valid up to date. The question is, Do I need to have both verified for registration for NMC? or only the current one. Anyone experiencing the same problem?or has experienced it?

Hi!I hope it's not too late. I just sent my papers to NMC today and it cost me 240 sar from Riyadh. About the registration date of our Saudi council license, isn't it the same as the issue date of our Saudi Registration Certificates? I also have the same question. Expiration date is found at the back of our license card.

registration date for my license was different from the issue date

You may check the scfhs website to make sure

Thank you! I did check it at the E-services gate of SCFHS but it only showed the validity period. Where exactly do I have to check? coz I was just sort of planning to rely on the translation of my Registration Certificate.

Hey, Thank you again for the quick reply! So just to be clear again, it is not the same as that of the issue date of the certificate of registration? Have you submitted all your documents to NMC?

Hi kate_d I would like to ask how much you paid for the translated scfhs?

In my case, I am out of the kingdom now, do you think it is ok if I would have it translate here in the Philippines by the Saudi Embassy?

hi cathfreze. mine was translated in NCMF located in Commonwealth, Quezon City. Make sure you ask for the Declaration from the Translator as well. :)

Hi, I badly need an advice with regards to my nursing registration requirements. The nursing council required me an original professional accreditation certificate from saudi arabia where i worked for couple of years. Can I possibly acquire this certificate considering my employer is unable to release the original one to me? I badly need your help...
