Hi! Been following the discussion about verification of nurse registration since last week and I decided to join this site to get some help and be of assistance, if possible.
Currently, I am applying for Further Assessment in Alberta's College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). At this stage, the only requirement I need is the Verification of Registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) or known as the Saudi Council. I was advised that it is done online so I paid and received a Certificate of Good Standing via email in a matter of minutes. I thought everything was fine but the problem has just get started from that point.
Two weeks ago, I sent the said certificate electronically but they advised me to have it printed and sent directly from its source that is Saudi Council. So I went there a couple of days back to ask them to send it as it is the requirement of CARNA (with the fee of sending to be paid by me) but they declined my request. They just gave me an envelope and instructed me to send it myself.
The dilemma did not end there because last night, CARNA emailed me that the certificate does not include the Initial Date of Registration and that their Nurse Consultant will call them with this concern. As for my end, I am planning to go back there and have the Verification of Nurse Registration Form filled up in addition to the good standing certificate. However, I would like to hear from you guys who have the same concern or been processing their CARNA registration or with any other jurisdiction (eg., NMC UK, AHPRA) that requires registration verification from Saudi Arabia.
guys.... i've been reading the thread.... are to advise me... i just resigned from a polyclinic here in Jeddah. I never had a saudi council license or ever tried to apply for myself... I intend to exit the kingdom and work in the philippines. but i had seen a lot of job openings to UK... help? i wanted to try... but i never had saudi council license... will I be able to apply through NMC registration...? help please... before i start spending money...
can someone help me in here..i'm currently working in ksa (taif) and at the same time i'm processing my registration to new zealand nursing council. I'm already in the stage where i need to process my verification of registration in saudi council..can someone here tell me the exact steps to follow in processing this said document..
Hello dear...could you please tell me whether they give the explanation letter about our practise before saudi council registration.I got my registration 3 months after starting my work experience.now I started nmc processing but stuck with saudi council varification

i also told my friend to request a good standing vertificate there so that it will also be included in my pack 2 when they send it to london. can it be printed there? or it is really issued through email only?
Hello Donna ,I hope you are in UK now.kindly tell me how did you complete SCFHS varification?Did NMC asked for any explanation letter regarding gap between start of experience and SCFHS registration.thank you
no they will sign it... go to jeddah provincial office.. they will keep saying no but if u go to jeddah provincial office they will accept that.

Hi! How much is the courier fee to send the documents from riyadh straight to NMC? Also, will you be able to check the date of registration of your saudi council and expiration? Thanks!

Sorry i forgot exactly how much but it was around 150sr
before i enclosed the documents in their issued folder i checked the dates and spelling of my name
make sure you had the enveloped stamped before sending
