Hi! Been following the discussion about verification of nurse registration since last week and I decided to join this site to get some help and be of assistance, if possible.
Currently, I am applying for Further Assessment in Alberta's College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). At this stage, the only requirement I need is the Verification of Registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) or known as the Saudi Council. I was advised that it is done online so I paid and received a Certificate of Good Standing via email in a matter of minutes. I thought everything was fine but the problem has just get started from that point.
Two weeks ago, I sent the said certificate electronically but they advised me to have it printed and sent directly from its source that is Saudi Council. So I went there a couple of days back to ask them to send it as it is the requirement of CARNA (with the fee of sending to be paid by me) but they declined my request. They just gave me an envelope and instructed me to send it myself.
The dilemma did not end there because last night, CARNA emailed me that the certificate does not include the Initial Date of Registration and that their Nurse Consultant will call them with this concern. As for my end, I am planning to go back there and have the Verification of Nurse Registration Form filled up in addition to the good standing certificate. However, I would like to hear from you guys who have the same concern or been processing their CARNA registration or with any other jurisdiction (eg., NMC UK, AHPRA) that requires registration verification from Saudi Arabia.
If I may ask which office specifically in ScFHs should we go to. I am currently asking a friend to do it on my behalf . Information as to who to approach and which office to go in SCFHS Jeddah is greatly appreciated...
I am processing my unregistered practice thru Jeddah office.

@ yanathewanderlust: You can ask your friend to go directly to SCFHS Jeddah to process your unregistered practice form. I did not go there personally when I did my unregistered practice form, but I am sure that the staff there already know what to do, so there's no need to worry. Good luck!
Im so glad to have found this forum that reaches out to all who are having difficulties processing their post registration practice form from Saudi Arabia.
Im also processing my Post Registration Practice form with the SCFHS. Initially, I requested my COGS from the Riyadh office, but they no longer complete the Form as required by the NMC. So I am now trying to go through the Jeddah office via some friends who still reside in Jeddah. Just a few hours earlier my friend took my papers (that is the NMC form and my COGS to the SCFHS) there the woman asked him to pay 300 SAR. Now since I already have the COGS I dont know what the 300 SAR is for. I tried to call the following numbers to clarify what they need from me to get it done, but no one is even picking up the phone: 02 666 88 34/02 676 8835. I would really appreciate any comments or tips about what I can do to get this done and if anyone has a number I can use to call the SCFHS - ive tried googling it, but so far nothing.
is it only in saudi council jeddah branch where verification of of registration can be processed? how about some other branches like in dammam or alhassa or alkhobar?
I am also in the same cituvation, I need registration verification from saudi council. Anybody can help me. Please let me know how I will get registration verification from saudi nursing council. I left in 2011 from saudi.
