How do you juggle work and studying for nursing courses? Any suggestions?

During my most recent program (BSN), I dedicated Mondays and Tuesdays to nothing but school assignments and studying. My work schedule took place during the rest of the days. If there was time, I would do a little schoolwork on Wednesdays. But I tried to complete all assignments for the week at the beginning of the week so that I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore until the next week. That way, you have the rest of the week to deal with life. I did the entire program that way. For the ASN, I had just as much time on my hands as an unemployed individual, so there was no issue there.

I would suggest selecting 2 or 3 days dedicated to nothing but schoolwork and not let anything interfere with it. The same goes for work. Also pick one day for yourself and don't let work or school creep into that day no matter what. A convicted schedule is a must. Good luck!

thanks! good advice. I will keep this in mind when making my schedule.

I would use my off days to do about a month's worth of work.
