Hi everyone!

This forum is for students who applied to the Regis University Accelerated BSN Program for Spring 2019, in Denver, CO. If one already exists please let me know.

Does anyone know about the decision timeline coming up? I applied a couple months ago and am waiting to hear. I got an Application Complete email a couple weeks ago.

Hello Everyone,

I was just put on the wait list as well :/ Hopefully some of the students who received acceptance letters have already committed to other schools. The email said we would know as little as even a week before school starts if people do not finish their pre reqs! Hoping that is not the case for all of us because I am sure you all have applied to other schools and would have to commit to another one before then!

Anyone have any idea how many are on the alternate list??

I agree with you hopefully some other people have committed school and most importantly that they get accepted there. I think we won't know how many people are on the waitlist until August 10th once those chosen as alternate confirm that they want to be put on the waitlist. So I am just wondering when are those accepted confirming hat they want to attend as well? So anyone who got accepted let us know please. And From previous forums I have read that they usually take 5 or less to none from the waitlist and they are about 30 people in the waitlist or less. So I am kind of hopeless honestly. But I will remain positive and hope and pray for the best.

We have to verify our intent to enroll and pay a deposit by August 10th. So I think by then the school will have a better idea of who will accept the initial offers and I'm sure at that point some alternates will get in! Don't feel hopeless! I know myself and others I've talked to are waiting to hear back from other schools before making a decision.

I am new to this thread and unsure if anyone checks it anymore but I gladly got accepted.... best wishes to everyone on the wait list. You will find your match! Don't lose hope.

For those of you who got accepted, I'm wondering if you know of anything where we can get in contact with others who got in as well? I'll be moving from Portland, OR and am looking to rent a house/apartment with other nursing students. I'm just unsure how to connect with other people.

From what I have heard they usually set like a Facebook group so those who were admitted get aquainted with other students who were admitted . So they can start their moving process. I noticed that most of us here are on the waitlist or else that would have been easier for you to find someone like me if I was admitted haha. anyways hopefully you find someone. Best of luck.

Does anyone know if we have received our grades for prerequisites for summer session classes if we can/should send our updated transcript for the program. I am currently on the alternate list and was wondering if anyone knew how to go about ensuring my latest course work is considered.

Also, for those on the waitlist. From what I understand, the spring cohort generally takes more from the waitlist than the May start because the University of Colorado application cycle is happening at the same time, and for CO residents UC is significantly cheaper.

I just did this electronically!! I recvd a "unofficial evaluation" from regis as I am on the waitlist as well. The unofficial transcript was already prefilled with my summer courses and credits added. I would suggest submitting it to regis directly from here.

I'm curious of the people accepted.. how many paid their deposits today/intent and how many declined their intent waiting on other schools?

Those who are on the waitlist will most likely know by today or throughout this week. Last time I talked to Kayla she told me so far they are 60 people on waitlist that was before the deadline now i feel like there is propbably like 100 ugh! However now I don't know how many people are on the waitlist And how many people accepted their offers. But they pick those from the waitlist based on how closely the statistics of the person who gave up their seats is to the person on the waitlist. So at this point I kind of feel like I am not going to get into this cohort. So I will just apply for the May one.
