Hi everyone!
This forum is for students who applied to the Regis University Accelerated BSN Program for Spring 2019, in Denver, CO. If one already exists please let me know.
Does anyone know about the decision timeline coming up? I applied a couple months ago and am waiting to hear. I got an Application Complete email a couple weeks ago.
Share any info or questions you might have!
Good luck to all!
Hi folks
I just received an acceptance email. This is the first program I applied to and am pleased but also don't really know much about how this program compares to other bigger, more well known schools.
Others I'm applying to: Rutgers, University of Rochester, NYU (all for Spring 2019).
Does anyone know career changers who went to Regis University, loved the ABSN program and went on to advanced nursing degrees? That's my goal.
Alemo,
Honestly I stumbled on regis by curiosity I was over looking schools and I stumbled upon it and I loved it. Something about this campus was just calling me lol and as far as their nursing program people really do want to get in this school and I think it is ranked high as far as nursing schools in Colorado. So that's is why I made it my top priority, I was so bummed to find out that I am on the waitlist. By some miracle I hope I get in. And by the way what is next for you does that mean you get an interview? Or you have to give your deposit already to save your spot? And congrats by the way!!!
Yes, Leslylove, Regis really seems to have an integrity about it that pops out. I'm on the East Coast so I'm probably just used to hearing big name institutions. It's clearly it's own thing though and I want to respect that. I am attracted to the Jesuit aspect which is new to me.
No interview required. They just said that they will send another hard copy acceptance letter and some other information. And, hey...getting on the waitlist means you could still wind up going there. Good luck to you. You'll find your match.
Alemo,
Yes being on the waitlist honestly that means something, like at least they looked at your application and they considered you to be a good fit for their program and to become a nurse. Especially with the number of People that applied.so I will keep praying to to hear back good news front this school

I haven't heard anything either! I'm refreshing my email about a million times a day.
Also, in the information session I went to it sounded like there was an avg of 300-400 applications and 98 spots in the co-hort. They also do an alternate list in case anyone drops their spot.
Good luck to everyone!
