Regis University ABSN Spring 2019

Published

Hi everyone!

This forum is for students who applied to the Regis University Accelerated BSN Program for Spring 2019, in Denver, CO. If one already exists please let me know.

Does anyone know about the decision timeline coming up? I applied a couple months ago and am waiting to hear. I got an Application Complete email a couple weeks ago.

Share any info or questions you might have!

Good luck to all!

Wait.. you're kidding 60 people!!!?!

Wow!! I didn't think that many people make the waitlist at all. I know other private schools like Samuel Merritt, USF, Lomda Linda, etc. only take 15 people on the waitlist max because they know that no more than 20 people will decline. Also, Regis is the only school that has notified students this early!! Most schools open their application September 1st and let students know week before Thanksgiving for Spring 2019. To be honest with you, I thought because of the early intent most people would decline waiting for their #1 choice but we will see... I really hope we hear this week!!! That would make things a lot easier to figure out.

Also, did you guys respond to the Health Care Ethics email regarding which section you wanted for the 8 week course. I responded but never received a response back...

Has anyone on the waitlist heard back and got accepted? I figured because people had to decide by last Friday that wait listed people would start hearing that they were accepted. I'm worried as I am on the waitlist and want to know if the initial acceptance after the round of people who declined has been sent out or not.

I have not heard anything they are a lot of people on the waitlist :'( I think I will just apply for the May cohort and pray for the best!

I don't think we'll be notified until after the Alternate List Webinar. I feel like they wouldn't go through all that trouble to hold a webinar and answer a bunch of questions and have people find out they were accepted. So I'd say we will probably start hearing until end of August?

Yah you are probably right. I am in the first webinar tomorrow so I am sure we will get all our questions answered then.

Looks like they have a full class right now and they have 50 on the waitlist and plan to potentially take 20 is the average from the past.

The wait will suck

yes the wait will suck! Let's just keep praying that we get in

Anyone here ever taken the DSST for philosophy? Im looking to take it instead of doing a full semester class since I do not know if I got in or not yet.

I'm not from the Denver area, anyone have any suggestions on where ABSN Regis students live? Just wanted to look at housing but didn't know if anyone had any good recommendations since Denver is so big!

Hi guys! Have any alternates heard any news?

Nope I feel like not anyone is going to drop unfortunatly :/
