I dont know if this is the right area or not, but I received my testing authorization today and scheduled my NCLEX for January 3rd. I was wondering how long it takes to get your temp. license? Is it completely online? and how do you look it up? Thanks!!

I'm not for sure where you are from but there is no such thing as a temporary license. You use your ATT to schedule your test and if you pass then you get your license, if you dont pass then you dont get anything at all until you pass.

There is something like a temporary permit and thats what the original poster was talking about.
Avidhunter3,you need to specify what state so that people can help you out on what you are talking about.Try looking on your state board website or call them because they are the best person to actually direct you.
I guess its a permit, I am from Texas, and they said we would get a temporary work permit that was good for like 45 days, that you could use to work as a GVN until you take the NCLEX and pass
