to all recent board passers..whats NEXT?

i used kaplan online and saunders book.. made it on my first try.

actually saunders compre book 3rd ed is enough. just study it by heart.

HI Lleanne915. All I can say when I took the CGFNS, I read the saunders book but I wasn't able to finish it though. Then, I enrolled in a review center I'm sorrry but i cant tell what review center that was. ANyway, kathykaye is right read the saunders compre by heart. I haven't take the NCLEX yet so I can't really say the accuracy of the book in terms of NCLEX exam.

kaplan will help you on how to strategize in answering questions..

actually saunders book is enough.. the informations are still fresh on your mind since you just took the board exam.. take that advantage.. save your money... you can study on your own. just focus on what you are doing..practice a lot of questions and learn the strategies in answering questions. you dont need to know everything.. just learn how to strategize.. that's it..focus..

i agree with kathykaye coz in my experience i wasted so much time after my local boards for vacation. when its my time to review for cgfns i would again start from scratch. I already forgot all of the theories studied before the locals boards... i also suggest kaplan + saunders....

dont take ielts first...may expiry date yun from what i heard...not sure though..im also planning to go to ny!! i have a ten yr.tourist visa now and im thinking if i could apply the exams there na or do i still have to apply it from here.....aaarghhh....confusing!!!

yup english exams are only valid for 2 yrs.. you can take the exam as long as youre sure that you can pass the cgfns and/or nclex exam withn that period.. its ok if you take the english exam first.. so that you wont waste your time..
