Ready to Pay for NCLEX results in CA

I just took the NCLEX test July 24th in Oakland, CA and did not receive anything in snail mail yet. How long does it take? I am ready to pay for on-line results, are there any websites that can check if I pay? The wait is killing me!:o

I just took the NCLEX test July 24th in Oakland, CA and did not receive anything in snail mail yet. How long does it take? I am ready to pay for on-line results, are there any websites that can check if I pay? The wait is killing me!:o

The following might be of assistance.

1st ) go to http://www.rn.ca.gov/

2nd) look at the left side of the page; click on 'Online Services'

3rd) look at the middle of the page; click on 'Online License Verification'

4th) type in your Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial or follow the directions

If you are a registered nurse in California, your name should appear, followed by the two initials -- RN. The site is updated from Monday to Friday. I took the NCLEX-RN in California on July 30, 2007. I saw my whole name with the "RN" on August 1, 2007.

I hope that you will see your name from this California RN Licensee Holder Directory. Please tell me what happens. Good luck.:balloons:

don't think CA participate in online verification. The previous post is OK if you have a SSN but if you don't then you have to wait for snail mail to deliver results

Thnx for the response....my name is still not showing up at the License Verification website. Today I called the CA BON and lady told me they are still processing my results and it may take 2-4 weeks. It's going on its 3rd week now.....:o

Looks like people who had passed will see their names on the Lic Verification website within a week and people who don't pass will get their results in 2-4 weeks...can anyone confirm this pattern?

Do you have a SSN as that seems to be the reason when results are shown sooner. Otherwise not a lot you can do except wait for snail mail.

For what I know CA doesnt have Quick result..

I am in the same boat as you (along with meny others. Most of my friends had received their results in 3 days on the BON website, however, it seems like all of the sudden everyone I know taking it is waiting a lot longer. Many receive their letter before the lisence is posted online. I took mine on the 29th of July & am still waiting. It's nerve racking! From what I have found out, the CA BON still uses paper (not computers) & humans to double check the results & to send them out. I have heard of people getting their results after 3 weeks & passed just fine. Hang in there... you're not alone. I know it sux ;(
