Just thought I would start a new thread for the current application cycle. Questions... stats... rumors... etc!
My question is... for those applying this cycle, how did you do on the TEAS V? Since this is the first year they are using this test, it would be nice to see how everyone is doing.
(Please don't post TEAS 3 or TEAS 4 results, as the scores are NOT comparable with the TEAS V.)
You're welcome. Include all classes that you took within the past 5 years...I used an online GPA calculator haha. The bad thing is we will never know if they might have made a mistake with our GPA cause they don't post it
@motosteph. I'm in a similar position as you with the gpa. I have two degrees and I've done the pre-reqs at CCC. What I did, was I took everything in the past 5 years (including spring 2007) and I also included any pre-reqs or co-reqs completed previous to that (math, english, psych, etc) and figured out my GPA that way using an online calculator that had room for that many classes.
I checked my commnet through the tax notification route and it doesn't say anything other than my admission requirements are met. But I heard they are mailing letters today so I'm hoping to get it by Wednesday! Fingers crossed! Good luck!!
NEF- I see what you mean now. Chris said he was waitlisted I have nothing so maybe 2m it will say something.
I was waitlisted at BHSN so now I have lost all hope for me to ever be an RN I applied to NVCC for respiratory and I got in. I have a 4.0 from gateway and a 3.7 from WCSU were I have a BA in psych. I guess if I had to ill go to NVCC its not the end of the world I just made sure that no matter what I did something for next semester .. PLUS i work in the ICU at yale so i want to make sure I have a job in a hospital. This is soo stressful I wanna throw up lol
Its odd people got waitlist messages.... did anyone get a message that they were accepted?
I know Bridgeport Hospital did there acceptance already. I got accepted but im not sure whats up with Gateway. Some people got waitlisted and some did not get a reply yet. Last year when I applied I got my waitlist online early but my friends who got in saw nothing. In fact all those you got waitlisted could see it online but the ones who got accepted did not.

I had a similar situation with gatewway last year. In fact people that got in did not see anything while the waitlisted people (like me) saw they were waitlisted.

Which I was much more excited about before I accidentally saw online that i was waitlisted. I have a feeling that you guys are right about what happened last year that those who got in saw nothing but that their reqs were met while those waitlisted saw online that they were waitlisted. Oh well, i just hope my number is in the single digits.
I want to know too, I guess we'll just have to wait for the mail:no: If they send them out today, we should all see something tomorrow right, only one day in state?

I have to say that although it is so annoying to hear... if you got waitlisted this year do not give up. I was waitlisted last year and it was horrible. I took the extra year and saved money.... However.. if i dont get in this year I will lose it!
