just wanna ask if you guys send true copy of your transcript or just a copy , did u guys send a copy of your diploma too and some certificates? can anybody else help? thanks.
your transcripts has to be issued by your school of nursing, if you send it then it has to be in a sealed envelope with their stamp. they will not accept anything without the school officail stamp
hi guys, just wanna ask regarding Vermont's license expiration date. In Vermont's license database, my license is effective October 6, 2008 but it will expire on March 31, 2009, Im just wondering why is it only good for 6 months? I thought Vermont's license is good for 2 years? Any idea about this?
All Pinay nurses: What's this news about Vermont? Well everyone I know would like to apply to their Board Of Nursing. Girls/ Boys.. To tell you frankly..California, New York and whatever state you wanted to apply is just as the same as vermont... The Board of Nursing on all states has the scope of exams..They are all difficult... Pain staking and traumatic... So don't go for the news in the Phils. saying... take the VermontNCLEX exams...
Sorry, but in the US we have only a national exam and it is called the NCLEX. It is not state specific. The exam is going to be the same for you no matter where you write it or for which state. It is what we call a CAT exam and questions will be given to you depending on how you answered the previous question.
NY actually requires that one complete the CVS which takes on average about 8 months to get done thru CGFNS before they will even look at your application.
CA does not issue a license without a SSN# and they only give three years to present them with a SSN# or they destroy your file. One is not considered a US RN until they have an actual license number issued to them.
Each state has their own requirements for licensure, the NCLEX exam is only the final step in the process. And VT does not require anything extra at this time, so that is why many choose to go thru there. But things never stay constant and this does not mean that VT will not make changes to their requirements. But at the present, they are one of the only ones that will issue a license to one that does not hold a SSN# and they do not require the CES.
Finally. I got my approval from VT BON last October 25 (4 months of waiting) and I registered at Pearson Vue yesterday. I got my ATT just this morning. Good. I just can't seem to schedule my exam online. It was stated that I have to make a phone call at PV Registration Center. Why can't I schedule online? It's easier that way but if it can't be done I'll try to call PV later.
Thanks for the help. I've been reading and I learned a lot from this forum. I just hope that we all pass NCLEX. :)

If outside the US then you have to ring to make a date although you should be able to see slots online
hi i am a registered nurse from Philippines. I've just recieved the approval from the state of VT. I'm just wondering if i should immediately register to Pearson Vue? Or am i given 365 days to register? I'm confused with the time frame. Please help me. Thanks a lot!
Do not register until you know that you are going to be ready to test. You will have only 90 days from when the ATT is actually issued.
