Hello & good day to all,
5mins ago i called pearsonvue's quick results line & learned that i have to retake the nclexRN. i felt sad but i am now over it.
i am on my feet again, gearing up & ready to start from scratch on a positive note more determined than my first attempt.
Thanks be to God for the opportunity!
it (the exam) was unlike anything i have seen before, (maybe i was culturally shocked? i dunno..)
anyways, i did well & finished the saunders 4th ed for my nclex preps.
i would like to do more this time so i am looking at taking the HESI review approach, do they have a website?
i am a licensed foreign nurse, but we do not have this HESI stuff from where i come from. any other programs/acronyms (SATA, HESI, etc) brought up will be greatly appreciated so i can look them up & their website sources as i am completely ignorant about these stuff.
also please let me know how to go about the re-processing of my NYSED application/s.
any information, tips & links for further reading will be much appreciated.
GOD bless you all.

hello,
:icon_hug:
i am sorry to hear that you weren't successful on the nclex. the confidence and attitude from receiving your results is such a positive one!!
i am going to suggest not to waste time or money on any of the review programs. since you have the saunders 4th edition, try and look into suzanne's plan. she has helped many 1st time and repeat nclex takers successfully pass the nclex with her program.
take a break for a week or 2, however long you need and when your ready to prepare for the nclex again, definately look into suzanne's program. all the info you need is located in a sticky thread at the top of the nclex forum page.
i wish you all the best and remember not everyone passes on their 1st attempt. take a break, start fresh and believe in yourself, it is possible.
take care.

HESI is not needed for you and it will not help you prepare for the NCLEX exam, it is nothing like this exam.
You will need to follow the instructions that NY has on their website in order to re-apply with them, you will be responsible for their fees again as well as for the exam.
SATA is just Select All That Apply and is only a format style of question.
Best of luck to you.
