Hi Everyone! Today I went before the BON in Florida for a criminal history while requesting licensing after just graduating from a nursing program here in Fla.

Wow, they are TOUGH...It's just like a court, really.

I couldn't believe how many nurses were there for discp. actions, it was amazing!

I was approved to sit for my boards, so it was a great victory for me.

It was very SCARY though. You speak to a board panel of about 10 members, at a 12 foot table, by yourself, with a microphone, while the other hundred nurses watch and listen to your whole life story!

I was terrified! I'm glad I had that exp. though---I KNOW I WILL NEVER get my butt into any situation in my career (if possible! ) I don't want to be on that stage ever again!
