Hello,  I asked one of advisors at RCC if they receive the score right away if you take the TEAS online at home and they said some students say it takes a couple of days and others say it sends the score instantly.

If you have 49 points & got a 70.3% on the tease you’re at 64 points. Unfortunately, you have to be more competitive. I had a 69 points when I first applied & got denied. So I retook general ED classes & a science score to boost my chances.

I had a friend last year get in with similar scores. Your chances might be decreased but its not impossible ? Potentially, you'll be put through alternate. People will drop their spots if they got into other programs. Don't worry too much now after applying, be proud so far that you did pass TEAS and soon will be in nursing school somewhere!!

Hello everyone, I have a total of 68 points after the TEAS 7. I unfortunately didn’t do so well on TEAS, but I’m aiming for my ADN at RCC, not BSN. I have 3 As in my anatomy&physio, and micro. I also have more As and a couple Bs in my General ED. I also have points for experiences and foreign languages. Out of curiosity, what do you think are my chances of getting in?? :))

When I applied for the first time at rcc I had 69 points & didn’t even get on the alternate list. I retook a science & general ED classes to boost my chances & that definitely helped(:

Hey guys, I received an email yesterday about there being problems with the first TEAS test we took on the 11th so they are going to retest us on the 26th and take the higher score of the two. Anyone else got the email? Anyone else retaking?

Was this email sent to student who took the test with RCC or every student that applied ? I’m asking because I was invited but told them I didn’t want my seat because I was using my TEAS 6 score. I didn’t receive the email you mention.

I believe it's for the students who were invited to take the TEAS on the 11th of this month.

oh geez this would happen to us LOL. Well I guess it is another opportunity to score possibly higher. I wonder what the issue was. What I am worried about is if that first score is valid for other nursing applications?
