RCC Nursing Spring 2023 (ADN)

Published

Hello everyone,

If you are submitting an application July-August for RCC’s CEP or traditional ADN Spring 2023 & you have questions please feel free to ask away. Let’s help each other get through this application process & eventually through the entire program(:

Hi! I plan to apply for CEP Spring 2023. I have 51 points pre TEAS! I am stressing about the TEAS and what resources I should stick to. Any help on best and most useful resources! Also, any insight on TEAS 7. I keep hearing that it is very different and more challenging. Thanks in advance!

Use Brandon craft for math, science with Susanna for science, IDK anyone for reading or English. If I find info on the TEAS 7 I’ll post. If you have a FB there are TEAS groups on there that post a lot bout the TEAS & have files with useful info.

For reading and english, I found Professor McAllister on Youtube to be helpful! I'm also nervous for the TEAS 7. I haven't heard anything about it yet!

Hi! I plan on applying for traditional Spring 2023! I have a Bachelors degree and I’m finishing up Bio 50B right now. If I calculated correctly, I should have 58 points pre-TEAS. I’m nervous to take it as well since it’s new but we got this!

Thank you all for the resources! I've only really been referring to the official TEAS guide but I think these resources will help me feel more confident. I think I need to score a 90 to make my application much more competitive. Will keep the thread updated if I hear anything back or find more info regarding TEAS and applications.

Hello! I also applied to the traditional and CEP program. Did anyone get a conformation email? I applied 3 days ago but haven't received anything.

I believe it takes bout 2 weeks to get a confirmation email.

Hello everyone! :) I applied for the traditional ADN and cep program at RCC. I have 49 points pre TEAS. I am nervous for the TEAS 7 test! I just started studying today ? Good luck to everyone here ! Hope we all get in !

Hello, I am applying to the RCCLVN program in February and wanted to know if anyone took that and were successful? And if so, I want to know everything! Ofc, within reason. If I am successful and get my license, I want to get my ADN or my BSN depending on if my brain isn’t too fried at that point. It’s all very overwhelming. If this is not the area to post this, super sorry!

Hello, I also applied to traditional ADN. I already submitted my application and sent official transcript, but I haven't receive a confirmation email. Do I have to contact a counselor after submitting the transcript? Thank you.

Hi! I talked to an advisor last week and they did confirm that it takes about two weeks to receive a confirmation email after you have submitted an application. There is also no requirement to meet with an actual counselor regarding your transcripts unless you have specific questions regarding coursework.
