RCC Nursing Fall 2019

Published

Hello! I thought I'd start this thread for anyone who is applying for the RN program at Riverside City College for Fall 2019! Let's all chat! :)

Pgomez731 email me at [email protected]. I have most of the textbooks and also study guides.

Do you guys know if taking Spanish 2 will get me points for the language proficiency?

Has anyone gotten an email regarding exactly where in the nursing building intake will be?

Well I actually saw on the application that it asks if we speak, write and talk another language then we can mark down yes and get 2 points. Would i be able to put yes even though im not good at speaking Spanish?? Do they test us at all?

If you took any foreign language in high school for two years you can get the points. They don’t even verify.

If you finish micro in spring 2020, you would have to apply that August to start in Spring 2021 ?

When would I apply if I would want to start Fall of 2021? Is it okay if I still had micro in progress to apply ?

I think it does ?

Hey guys! I have a question, do you think I should take anatomy 2B and Spanish 1 at the same time along with another class?? I know a language is 5 units so idk if I should just wait and take it during the gap semester for when I’m applying to nursing school?

I took a&p 2b and micro and that was a horrible semester as far as being swamped in assignments. I got two A’s but it literally took over my life. If you have a lot of obligations outside of school I would say not to chance it because you want the A’s in a&p.

Congratulations to all of those who are starting in the Fall. I will be starting my 2nd year, I started last Fall, and I am here to offer any guidance I can to you all. Get ready. Tighten those roller blades cause nursing school goes by soo fast, again Congrats!!
