Hello! I thought I'd start this thread for anyone who is applying for the RN program at Riverside City College for Fall 2019! Let's all chat! :)

@tricet I’d call ------------------- first thing Monday morning. The exams were proctored and IDs were checked so I would think you’d be okay.

How many points is everyone going in with now? I have 71. Hoping it’s enough to get in. ?

I believe I have 76. Do you know if we’re able to call & confirm how many points we have? I know people have miscalculated their points in the past & that scares me! Lol I don’t want any surprises.

If I calculated correctly I'll be applying with 78 points. I only applied for the CEP though.

Yeah I would call just to be sure because I know sometimes they mess up people’s points. For some reason, last semester they had me with less points than I actually had and when I found out it was too late.

Honestly, it’s hard to judge how good or bad our points are because it really depends on the pool of applicants. I think the cut-off varies from semester to semester, if I’m not mistaken.

Yeah you are right.. last semester cut off I think was 72? But the semester before that was in the 60s.. ?‍♀️

Last semester the cutoff was 73 but people with 71 points got in from the alternate list.

I keep hearing that it’s a little easier to get in for Fall semester compared to Spring. Does anyone know why? Regardless, I’m hoping it’s true!
