RCC Nursing Fall 2019
I wasn’t able to find my CWID either. I made a GroupMe for CEP students so we can keep each other updated on CSUF admissions and other requirements. Feel free to send this link along to others. https://groupme.com/join_group/49943534/7XRCYlYv

RCC Nursing Fall 2019
Yeah, there's no special treatment for the CEP admits. This was to be expected due to this being the inaugural cohort. It's hard work coordinating two schools together that have different admission requirements. ADN applicants will hopefully receive their decision in due time :). As for CEP admits I found some of the required documents that might be required upon admission for CSUF. http://nursing.fullerton.edu/current/requireddocs.php Who knows what will be required when we receive the admission packets, but it's something to be aware of. It's unfortunate that we'll likely have to pay for another background/drug test though.

Did you guys also get that e-mail where it says our student ID and applicant points were sent to a student on accident? It scared me because the first line was "I regret to inform you that your name was on a list", I thought I was about to get my admittance rescinded ?. I'll probably go to the April 18th meeting as well, see ya guys there.

I replied to the initial acceptance e-mail and received a confirmation a day later. Check your spam/junk folders. Also, have you received the information/email about background and drug checks? If you received those then I think you might be good. I’d reply to the original email just in case either way though to be sure.

I got my drug screening e-mail confirmation immediately, so I do believe you can do it today if you're off. I'm going to my chosen location later today during their testing hours.

Call them. I had the same issue, they'll unlock your account for you ?. It needs to be completed by March 25th, so get on it ASAP. I ordered it this morning and plan on going later today to get my drug test. Good luck!

RCC Nursing Fall 2019
Things are starting to move quickly. Background/drug tests are due by March 25th and it costs about $97. Info about health clearances/requirements have also been sent out to CEP applicants. I'm sure ADN students will get their e-mails in due time if things are moving like this, stay strong and good luck!

I got accepted into the CEP. So stoked! Good luck to everyone and remember that even if you don't get in this round that you'll eventually get to where you want to be. Life's a marathon, not a race ?.

Don't sweat it, enjoy your break guys. We've already controlled what we can control and now it's just time to wait. I think last fall had to wait till June to find out, so we're technically lucky if we hear back in April ?

I didn't take micro over the summer, but I took it with -------------------- at RCC. She's a fantastic teacher and gives you everything you need to succeed. Getting an A is definitely doable if you put in the time.

I feel like it would be a tad unprofessional to discuss other applicants' scores; unless you're asking if other students' points have been tallied in general and not the specific numbers.

Is the chemistry for your general GPA or science?

Does anyone know how the financial aid is going to work if we get accepted into the CEP? I vaguely remember hearing that we should be making the CSU our preferred school on our FAFSA to receive more aid. Also, were we supposed to apply as students to the corresponding CSU before turning in our CEP application?

I'm hoping that's the case. It does make sense though, I only found out about it because I took the nursing success class. There's barely any mention of the CEP on the RCC nursing website.

This application period might be a little more competitive due to the CEP opening up for the first time. It's basically a BSN program now right?
