RCC Nursing Fall 2019

Published

Hello! I thought I'd start this thread for anyone who is applying for the RN program at Riverside City College for Fall 2019! Let's all chat! :)

I've heard the same thing about the fall semester vs. the spring. I think for the fall 2018 semester the cutoff was 68 with people with 67 points getting in also.

This application period might be a little more competitive due to the CEP opening up for the first time. It's basically a BSN program now right?

Actually the counselor was saying that they don’t even have that many people as they’d like applying to the CEP. A lot of people weren’t even aware of it or some didn’t have all the classes to apply.

I hope that means those that did apply to the CEP have a better chance at getting in? Haha

The only reason I know about the CEP is because I went to a workshop in the fall of 2018. At that point, the school didnt even know what the criteria for applicants was going to be. I really do hope this is a good sign for applicants this year!

I'm hoping that's the case. It does make sense though, I only found out about it because I took the nursing success class. There's barely any mention of the CEP on the RCC nursing website.

I believe I have 76. Do you know if we’re able to call & confirm how many points we have? I know people have miscalculated their points in the past & that scares me! Lol I don’t want any surprises.

Did you happen to call them and ask how many points you have? I'm debating on if it's okay to do that or not. Don't want to bother them lol...

I was hesitant to call so I emailed -------------. I’ll let you know once he responds ?

I scored 74.7% on the teas ? I have been so anxious. I called steve and asked when would we hear about the results, he said it would be april? But from everywhere else, i am hearing it would be early march.

When I had met with the counselor she said that it was listed as March. But that it would be late March to early April at the latest. But who knows honestly I am just happy we are learning sooner rather than waiting till june which I think is when last year they found out.

Awe I was hoping we would know early March. The wait is killing me ?

April?! I was expecting early March... ?
