Hey guys!! I created this thread to keep each other up to date for those who are applying to the RCNJ 16 month accelerated nursing program this year!

It's 4 classes per semester. 16 credits total per semester

I'm not sure. It's a different track so theyre probably on a different timeline in terms of releasing decisions

I think Diana is right, they probably did the ABSN first and will get to the Bridge to ABSN after. 

Congrats to everyone again! I'm honestly still super excited and glad the waiting time is over.

In case anyone's wondering, I asked the nursing advisor when more specific info will be released, like health/drug screening, orientation, course registration etc. they said they'll be sending it after the final enrollment/deposit deadline which I think is April 15th. 

The nursing program  handbook linked in their last email doesn't mention the ABSN program, presumably because it's a new program and they haven't updated the handbook yet. I thought I was missing something, but nope. Im just going to relax and *maybe* review a little bit for the next two weeks. I have forgotten a lot of A&P.

Thanks for sharing the info! I also forgot a lot of A&P myself since I took both in 2022. Definitely going to be reviewing these next 2 months before classes start.

Hi! Congratulations on all the acceptances! I'm still waiting to hear back for the ABSN. I know some are waiting for responses regarding the bridge program, but is anyone else waiting for ABSN? Thanks!

Im wondering if they have a waitlist? I was speaking to another applicant and she said she got accepted into the ABSN but she isn't going to be able to accept the offer. So I feel like it would only be smart for them to have a waitlist but IDK how that would work.

Thanks! Yes, I agree with Sandy. I would guess that they release acceptances in groups because some people will decline the offer, then they move on to the next group etc. I don't know for sure, but I know some schools do that.
