Hey guys!! I created this thread to keep each other up to date for those who are applying to the RCNJ 16 month accelerated nursing program this year!

Sorry to hear about Rutgers, do you have any idea why they might have rejected you? I'm trying to figure out if Ramapo is more competitive than other ABSN programs

I asked with no response. My undergrad GPA is low. I was hoping my personal experience, work history, and 3.9 prerequisite GPA would overcome that. I'm assuming it's my undergrad.
I'm also assuming Ramapo is more competitive than Rutgers because the class size is smaller and it's cheaper. Although Ramapo doesn't have the long history and reputation that Rutgers has with ABSN to draw applications, but Ramapo was advertising big time. I'm constantly working on back-ups but I have that low GPA to contend with.
Good luck all!
Hi all! My pre-reqs are still in progress, so I applied to the bridge-to-ABSN program and am also obsessively refreshing the Ramapo admissions portal.
I have so many questions if I'm accepted. Just to get started ....for my prereqs with virtual lab component (I took Anatomy & Physiology via Portage Learning), will they possibly allow me to just retake the lab component at Ramapo? And for the ASBN portion - what exactly does the daily schedule look like, will in-person learning take place 4 or 5 days a week?
Good luck to you all!

You should call them and ask I am sure they would have all the answers!
