Ramapo College of New Jersey Accelerated BSN (ABSN) Program

Hey guys!! I created this thread to keep each other up to date for those who are applying to the RCNJ 16 month accelerated nursing program this year!

Also what did you get on the TEAS if you don't mind me asking? I scored a 90 but have a 3.4 so am unsure if my low GPA kinda messed up my chances.

I think they still work during Spring break from what I've heard. Email them now or in the morning it could be a glitch or mistake on their part..

I think your stats are great!! I got a proficient score for TEAS. My GPA for undergrad is low 3.2 and for pre reqs 3.8 so if anything my chances aren't that high...

The only thing I'm worried about is that I have a bunch of W's. (not necessarily in prereqs tho) but I feel like it isn't going to look good because I've been having a constant cycle of W's for the last 2-3 semesters or so. I know I should stay positive but it's hard!

I have a few too for my undergrad. But don't worry about that. Try to stay positive, your stats are good and they'll factor your personal statement, letter of recommendation, activities and such. It's definitely stressful!! I was rejected from two others and this is my last choice. So If anything ill try again next yr and also apply to ADN programs.

Thanks for the encouragement! Last time I asked they said they'd try to have decisions out by April 1st, not sure if anything changed tho. And yes def try ADN programs I also am applying to Bergen Community College so honestly if this doesn't work out I'd be fine going there. Hoping we both get in though!! <33

Oh wow, so in two weeks!! I honestly want to get it over with. Yes I'm gonna apply to Bergens evening program if anything. I hope so too <33

Yes! Also I think we have a good chance in getting in because I heard the application was extended until the 15th of March. It's closed now but maybe they extended it because they didn't have enough applicants?

My portal was updated sometime this afternoon. Now it has a row that says "Waived Official - Final HS Transcript 03/18/2024.” This may be a bad sign; maybe theyre not bothering to request it because I'm not getting in anyway, IDK. THe status is still "Under Review.” I hope this means decision time is coming sooner rather than later.

OMG mine was the same thing!! Last night it said my application was incomplete and I was so nervous but I called them this morning and they waived it. I was so confused as to why they were even asking for it because it wasn't a requirement before. I think you're good to go, don't worry.

Phew! Well, something's happening behind the scenes at least. I'll just continue checking the portal 20x a day, LOL

Hi, Can you please let me know where you guys are checking the status? Is it the same link that we used to apply? Just checking because mine just says submitted. Thanks!
