Does anyone know if we would be starting clinical this Summer? Or would it begin in the fall semester?

I believe we don't start clinicians until fall

Hi, so I received an acceptance letter for the ABSN program at Ramapo. But it was to start on 2025. I'm almost done with A&P 1and 2 thru Portage learning. And I thought I was gonna start the ABSN this year. But the acceptance letter says I will start the program on 2025. Any of you going thru the same thing?

Congratulations! I was also accepted for 2025 because my chemistry credits aren't equivalent. You should follow up with them regarding Portage. I offered to take a virtual chem class now to start early but they said it had to be in person. Good luck!

Hi Kara! Congrats. there's a private "club”/group on this website (per the allnurses rule). I'll add you. Not a lot has happened yet. I havent received any specific info other than the handbook and generic info that was emailed a while back. Have you received any updates recently?

Hey guys!! I also have not receive anything as of yet. I was able to look at the class schedule for this Summer though (if you activate your Ramapo email you should be able to access their class schedule so I just looked up nursing classes for Summer 2024) anyways I just wanted to get an idea of the hours but from what I saw we'll also be starting clinical this Summer most likely which I wasn't aware of!

Good idea! Does Integrated CLinical Strategies = clinicals? I would assume so but IDK

Hello, I was wondering if anyone was thinking of looking for apartments near the school?  Or are most of you guys commuting and if so how far are you guys ? I'm a little over an hour and worried about the commute.

Hi!

I was accepted to their Bridge-ABSN program, as I still have pre-reqs in the works (A&P 1,2 and Micro). Congrats to all those who will be starting this year! As for the Bridge-ABSN students, classes are going to be separate for us. So far they have AP 1 on a Saturday (lec and lab)!

I believe all science classes have to be taken in person
