Rady Children's Nurse Residency Summer 2020

Hello all!

I couldn't find a discussion for the Summer 2020 program so I thought I would start one! What did everyone apply for?

Does anyone know if Rady accepts many out-of-state applicants?

I received an email to interview with the ED June 2nd. Has anyone else and has anyone had experience with an ED interview? Also, anyone know when they are planning to start the Summer Cohort?

Has anyone heard if Rady will hold their Summer cohort? If not, will they use those applicants for the next round whenever that is held? Any insight is appreciated! ?

Any insight? Wondering if the Summer cohort is slated to start and if they will be posting the fall cohort in a few weeks as intended.

No updates yet. Last I got was that the Summer cohort doesn’t have a set start date still but those who already interviewed will still be considered when they do come up with a date.

I emailed HR to ask and she said it’s delayed indefinitely, but yeah as Sadie said, we should still be up for consideration when they start the program back up again. Anyone have any insight/predictions on when “indefinitely” will end? LOL

A girl I know who works there said she heard September but nothing official, that’s just the rumor

I wonder, does this mean the July posting (for fall) won't happen?

I asked the recruiter about the July application and she said it will not be posted.

Last I talked to the recruiter they had no idea. Just told me to keep checking the website for updates. That was about 3 weeks ago.
