Hi everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for those applying to the Rady Children's Hospital New Grad RN Spring 2026 Cohort!

The application opens tomorrow (10/6)! Good luck to everyone 🙂

I still haven't heard anything back including a rejection email, but from what I have seen in the thread, the two units that I selected have already made their calls about interviews. Can we be selected to interview for a unit that we didn't put as our preference?

Yeah you can. I didn't put CAPS in my cover letter last Spring as a particular preference, but they still called me for an interview.

Last time I applied I heard nothing back until offers went out and then received a rejection after hearing nothing for months... I thought I would never hear back but just want people to know that is also a possibility...

for people that interviewed for cticu does anyone know when they'll get back to us? or how many new grads they're looking for

For those who got an email for ED and PICU when did you guys get the email? Days ago or just yesterday? I applied to both those departments and I haven't heard anything back, I am losing hope at this point

for those who interviewed already, esp for CTICU, did you guys get an email for reference checks? got one this morning so im hoping that's a good sign 🥹

also @littlelifesaver, despite having gone through interviews my status is still submitted! I think from old forums they've said that even when they got offers it still never changed LOL
