Hi everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for those applying to the Rady Children's Hospital New Grad RN Spring 2026 Cohort!

Haven't received a call to interview, also haven't received a rejection email...is this a bad sign?

Anyone else get SkillSurvey reference checked after their interview? 
CTICU they said we should be hearing back at the end of this week 🥹 Update when you hear anything!! Waiting game is killing me haha.

I got a call from the CTICU for an offer earlier, around 10!! They said HR will be reaching out early next week with the official letter and next steps. 

If anyone else hears back, please update! I'll be moving to SD and would love to connect with this cohort / start a group 😊

Hi by any chance did they state how many positions they had open when they called?

They didn't! The overall cohort is usually around 30-40 people, but for CTICU specifically, in past cohorts and I believe this one as well, they typically take about 3-4 people.

Was this your first time applying/interviewing? also did you have an externship or preceptorship directly related to peds cardiac?

For Rady's, yes, this was my first time applying and interviewing. 

And yes, my preceptorship was in the CVICU at Stanford Children's

Hello, I interviewed for the PICU for the second time on 12/9. They said it'll be ~ 3 weeks until they call with yes or no. Wishing the best for everyone!

When you interviewed the first time around did they ask for references after your interview? Also, did they call you regardless of an offer or did you just get an email saying you weren't chosen? Sorry for all my questions just unfamiliar with the process at Radys.
