Hey everyone!
I am debating whether to sign up for the 10 day Rachell Allen NCLEX Review Course being offered in my area. Have any of you taken the course? And if so, is it worth the high price?
Someone told me that it is mainly geared toward international students - is this true? And how so?
Any insight you could provide would be appreciated!

I can't answer your question, as it has been many years since I took NCLEX.
However, I urge you to do a search of NCLEX Review courses, -- and reviews of those Review courses -- and compare their content with what you see as your weak and strong areas, and compare costs and location of courses, --- essentially all factors involved, before choosing a review course that will best meet your needs.
I wish you success in your review efforts, and in passing NCLEX!

I've never heard of the Rachell allen review. As dianah said, review the courses and read reviews and look for the one that focuses on your weak areas. Most people pass their first time without taking an expensive review course, by just using NCLEX review books and answering as many questions as possible. Personally, I wouldn't spend the money on an expensive review course unless I had already taken the test and failed. If you answer as many questions as possible, read the rationales for each and every one (whether you get it right or wrong), and read the test-taking techniques, that's a good place to start.
On a side note, does anyone else find it weird that all the posts raving about the Rachell Allen Review are all the first post the person has made? Swirlybitz only has 3 posts made because he/she posted the same thing 3 times right here. I find it very weird...like maybe its someone working for Rachell Allen Review that's posting those?
